16058 Rev Atom

Brazil

The Rev Atom robotics team is a true milestone in the history of technological innovation in state of Pernambuco, Brazil. As pioneers in the state in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) modality, the team has not only paved the way for other initiatives but has also raised the standard of educational robotics by combining creativity, engineering, and youth protagonism.

One of Rev Atom’s greatest distinctions lies in the boldness of its projects. The team is the first in Brazil to develop a robot built from carbon fiber—an impressive achievement not only because of the use of an advanced and lightweight material, but especially because the fabrication of the carbon fiber itself is carried out by the team members. This process highlights their high level of technical expertise and commitment to hands-on learning, going far beyond the conventional.

This innovative spirit and constant pursuit of excellence have earned national recognition. At Brazil’s national FTC robotics tournament, Rev Atom achieved second place in the Think Award, one of the competition’s most prestigious honors, which recognizes original solutions, strong engineering design, and innovative approaches to the challenges presented.

More than just results, Rev Atom represents inspiration. It is proof that with dedication, knowledge, and teamwork, students can transform ideas into real and impactful solutions, placing Pernambuco in a prominent position on the national robotics stage.
