We’re Team #27628, the Beargineers, from the International School of Amsterdam. Although this is our second year competing, the 2025–2026 DECODE season still feels very much like a rookie season for us.
We’ve greatly enjoyed the coopetition model that the FTC community is built around, where teams openly share their work for the benefit of others. Being able to compare different approaches to solving the same problem helps develop engineering understanding, and aligns perfectly with our school’s mission of educating for international understanding.
This season has been quite a journey for our team. We’ve gone through three complete robot rebuilds, participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship, and are now very much looking forward to pushing ourselves just a little further at the European Premier Event in Eindhoven!
