Hello! We’re Team 9121, Falcon Force.
We’re a faith-centered FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team from Ben Lippen School in Columbia, South Carolina. Our team is made up of thirteen students who design, build, program, and compete together. We take pride in our work, but we try to stay grounded, knowing that growth, character, and teamwork matter just as much as results.
Our program is hands-on and demanding. We spend long hours prototyping, designing in CAD, machining parts, 3D printing, coding in Java, developing autonomous routines, working with computer vision and machine learning, and troubleshooting electronics. This season alone, we have put in over 300 hours together. Not because we have to, but because we care about doing things the right way and learning from every success and setback.
Faith shapes how we work and how we treat one another. Everyone has a role, and everyone is valued. Upperclassmen mentor younger teammates, rookies bring fresh perspectives, and we all learn from each other. We believe humility makes us better engineers and better teammates.
