We are Team #30317 MORTEX, whose name means “the resurrected.” We are based in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
Our motto:
“Yggdrasil mundos tenet — nos futurum Ucrainae tenemus”,
which translates to:
“Yggdrasil holds the worlds — we hold the future of Ukraine.”
What makes us special?
First, most of our team already has experience participating in FTC as part of another team. However, for certain reasons, we decided to start a new path and created MORTEX.
Second, we’ve been joined by members who were previously captains of other FTC teams, which strengthens our expertise and leadership.
Third, we are actively promoting STEAM education in Ukraine: we participate not only in FTC but also in other competitions, events, and projects. Our goal is to show that robotics is accessible to everyone.
And, of course, we are especially proud of our mascot, Flick. He is a blue, shimmering spirit, a symbol of creative passion that drives us forward. According to our team legend, Flick is the soul of an engineer who inspires us with new ideas and solutions.
