The FIRST Tech Challenge European Premier Event 2026 isn’t just about competition – it’s a week filled with opportunities to experience much more! Beyond the competition days, there’s an array of activities included in the registration fee, ensuring every participant can explore, learn, and connect in unique ways! Kick-off the week

Tuesday – June 16 – Company Visits

As part of the European Premier Event, teams will have the opportunity to visit some of the region’s most innovative tech companies. From semiconductors to robotics and future-forward design, these visits offer unique behind-the-scenes experiences — and a glimpse into possible career paths.

🔹 InMotion – Experience ultra-fast charging innovation built by a student racing team.
🔹 Additive Industries – Explore industrial metal 3D printing
🔹 Avular – Make labor shortage a problem of yesterday using mobile robotics.
🔹 High Tech Campus – Homebase for breakthroughtechnology and innovation
🔹 Prodrive Technologies – Creating meaningful technologies that make the world work
🔹 FRC Team Rembrandts – Discover the world of FRC with Team Rembrandts.

At the beginning of May, teams will receive a form where they can indicate their preferences for a destination. Please note that spots per location are limited and teams are responsible for their own transportation to and from the locations.

Wednesday – June 17 – University Campus Day

On Wednesday, June 17,  teams are invited to take part in the University Campus Day — a unique experience hosted by the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. This inspiring day offers a deep dive into cutting-edge research, student innovation, and academic opportunities at one of Europe’s most forward-thinking campuses. With a variety of exciting sessions and activities, there will be something for everyone to explore and enjoy!
