Hello from Romania! We are FTC Team 22590, proudly representing Paradis International College from 2023.
For us, FIRST means collaboration, respect, and perseverance, constantly pushing ourselves and our robot to become better than yesterday. Through robotics, we promote STEM education as a way of thinking, creating, and solving real-world problems while inspiring other students to explore engineering and technology. Our team was recognized with the “Think Award” at the Romania East League Tournament, reflecting our dedication to the engineering design process and innovation.
Beyond competition, we actively support our community through projects such as “Robotics Without Borders” which already connects schools from India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Romania, and “Mechabyte on Tour”, where we organize outreach events including a charity concert to support schools with robotics kits and promote young artists from Iași.
We proudly represented Romania at the Kaohsiung International Design Expo in Taiwan in 2025, earning the Platinum Trophy and Gold Medal, and every year we promote FTC values through interactive demonstrations at the “Nikola Tesla” Creative Festival of Sciences.
We are truly honoured to be part of this event, where robotics becomes more than competition: it becomes a way to connect cultures, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. We look forward to learning from teams around the world, building lasting friendships, and returning home not only as better engineers, but also as stronger global citizens.
