Germany

Hello from Germany! We are Team Code Brezel, a rookie FTC team made up of students aged 12 to 18. We train every week and always try our best in the world of robotics. So far, we have built over six different types of robots and spent a lot of time working in the Tech Studio in Bad Nauheim. This is our first year doing FTC, and we’ve already competed in Zeist and Den Haag. During this time, we learned what stress really feels like and how strong teamwork can be. We improved our skills a lot and met many other teams and friendly people, helping and learning from each other. We also did a lot of outreach, like running a “Robot Hospital” for the First Lego League regional final in Siegen and visiting companies to find sponsors with our project called “Future Ready Wetterau,” where we made new connections. We took part in events like “Bad Nauheim Spielt,” where over 12,000 people came and visited us over the four days, which was an amazing experience. At “Born to Brick” in Rüsselsheim, we gave workshops for younger kids, to teach them the basics of Lego Spike Education. We also visited several primary schools to help start new FLL teams and went to Sankt Lioba High School, where we even gained a new team member. As a team, we work hard, have fun, and try to be great alliance partners. Our values are teamwork, professionalism, team spirit, inclusion, snacks, and motivation.

We look forward to having a great time (and several parties) with all the teams!

Our motto is: try, fail, and try again.
