We are Team 22404 Delta from Shanghai Nord Anglia Bilingual School in China.
As the youngest FTC team in our school, our 14 members include students as young as 5th grade. This is our first year competing, and our goal is to qualify for the Premier Event 2026 in this season.We are thrilled to have received an invitation from the FIRST Tech Challenge European Premier Event 2026—it is not only a recognition of our efforts but also a spark that ignites the passion in our STEM hearts.
At the FTC Shanghai #2 Qualifier, we earned first place in the Sustain Award. Inspired by the “Pea Shooter,” our robot’s exterior combines creativity with function. To maximize collection efficiency, we experimented with silicone collection paddles, embracing the engineering process of constant iteration.
As first-year participants, we actively engaged our community: five senior engineers from aerospace and nuclear energy fields joined as technical advisors; we co-hosted outreach events with other schools, reaching nearly 400 participants; and we secured sponsorships to support equipment upgrades.
Our team follows the principle that “everyone can be a little leader.” With clear roles, open communication, and shared responsibility, we’ve built a cohesive and motivated team.
Though young and still growing, we have a clear vision. Driven by our passion for FTC, we are confident in becoming an outstanding team.
